FAQ

Orders usually arrive within 5-9 days of the time you place your order. Orders received by the deadline should arrive by the time you go to school. Call us at 1-866-847-7365 if you want to order after the deadline. We usually can do this too!

We ship orders home for two reasons. First, most parents and students we have contacted like to check the box and wash their linens before school. Second, many campus mailrooms are not open prior to move-in or ready for packages. Once the school year begins, we can have orders delivered to residence halls and mailrooms at no additional charge beyond routine shipping costs.

Checking your order status could not be easier. You may check the status of your order by using the following link and using your Order # and Billing zip code to look up your order. Track My Order. If you chose campus distribution, you and your student will receive delivery and pickup notifications at the contact emails you provided.

OCM takes part in a variety of promotions and discounts. Please make sure to check the promotional period for your promo code as well as any restrictions on products for the promo. To provide the best service to our customers, we start processing orders immediately. Due to this, we cannot guarantee that we are able to cancel an order once it has been placed.

Regardless of what product is purchased, OCM provides added communications through the process to make your overall delivery as smooth as possible. We provide both Campus Distribution and Home Delivery options based on what product was purchase and/or if your school offers Campus Distribution.

Home Delivery:
Packages are shipped once your order is processed. At this point, an email notification is sent to provide your order details, tracking # and link to "Track My Order."

Campus Distribution:
Packages arrive to campus roughly 5-10 days before move-in day or first day of class based on the school’s academic calendar. Schools notify OCM of their distribution plans, at which point, OCM emails and/or texts both the Purchaser (Parent) and Student all of the important distribution details, such as date time and location.

 

You can locate your tracking number by providing your Order # and Billing zip code here In the event you chose campus distribution, you will not receive an individual tracking number. Your student will receive a notification for pick up or delivery information.

We ask that you respond quickly because it ensures you get your first choice of color. However, we can take orders until just before move-in.

OCM fulfills over 90% of the items you can order for your student. For some items, especially larger appliances, we work with experienced partners whose products are approved for residence hall use.

There are companies that wish to make money by masquerading as the school despite no formal affiliation. We have been working with the schools directly for over 30 years. When you order from this site, you are choosing the service that schools have been formally partnered with since 1981.

We always like to recommend that you check with your school before shipping a package directly to them. In some cases, your school may not be accepting packages at certain times. In a lot of cases, we offer campus distribution programs where you can have your order waiting for you on campus when you arrive.

If your order is part of our campus distribution, we will update you once we have finalized details with your school. Your student will also receive a notification for pick up or distribution information. When placing an order, please make sure your email addresses and phone numbers are correct on your order to ensure proper notification.

We start processing orders immediately. In most cases, an OCM fulfilled product ships the next business day. For orders with expedited shipping placed before noon, OCM fulfilled orders ship same day. For standard shipping, you should expect your order in 5-9 business days. We also offer expedited shipping for an additional cost if you need your order sooner.

While we start processing orders immediately we cannot deliver same day. We try to get this to you as soon as possible. With that being said, we do offer services from our carriers that offer next day service.

We offer Express shipment option, which delivers within 1-2 business days within the Continental US.

Carriers today can only deliver to actual physical address and cannot deliver to a PO Box.

Absolutely, our products are in accordance with the fire safety policies outlined in CAL-117 -- California Technical Bulletin 117 which specifically addresses requirements for flame retardants in polyurethane materials. This is considered the industry standard for mattress toppers. CTB-129 is a separate requirement for mattresses and does not pertain to mattress toppers.

Once your item is received at the OCM Returns department a credit for that item(s) will be applied to the credit card provided and should show up on your credit card bill's next billing cycle.

If you pay by PayPal, you will be credited back to your PayPal account in the event of a refund. If you want to exchange an item, your PayPal account will be credited upon return of your item(s). We apologize for the inconvenience, but because legally we have no access to your PayPal information, we have no way to charge your PayPal account for the replacement item. replace your item(s); . A specially sized bed on campus is longer than your bed at home (usually 6-8 inches). Our sheets have been custom made to fit any dorm bed. Some sites and stores may claim they sell dorm bedding, but these are the only linens endorsed by the university, guaranteed to fit, and last until graduation.
